“ Up here on business again and decided to grab dinner here last night, brisket was only thing available so I grabbed 1 pound with beans and pudding. Everything was good. Just need to add bigger drink cups especially for to go orders ”

“ Porter's Real Barbecue was a solid spot for a BBQ dinner in the tri-cities area. We had a good, filling meal here with a menu that has all the favorites and different BBQ sauces. If you're in the mood for BBQ in Richland, Porter's offers something for everyone here. My partner and I visited Porter's for dinner on a Saturday night and the place wasn't busy, but steady with patrons dining in and getting takeout. They offer outdoor seating outside the entrance, which is nice as it's dog-friendly, and they even allowed us to bring our dog with us while we ordered, so we wouldn't have to leave her outside alone. Friendly staff here, too. We ordered a half pound of the brisket and a half pound of the smoked turkey with mac and cheese, coleslaw, baked potato with toppings and some pickles on the side. On the tables were three different BBQ sauces to try: original, spicy and mustard. The spicy sauce wasn't spicy at all, but had some zest to it, which was nice. The mustard one was my favorite. Brisket and turkey were slightly dry, but tasted much better after having it with some BBQ sauce. Of the sides, the coleslaw was best as it wasn't overly sauced with mayo and cabbage was crunchy. The disappointing side was the mac and cheese as it wasn't as creamy as I would've preferred. If you're looking for BBQ in the tri-cities area, Porter's is a solid option. ”
“ This place just checks everything off my list from cleanliness, friendliness, wait times, and price. This is definitely going to be a stop of mine when visiting the Tri-Cities. Absolutely a gem that started as a food truck. Staff were very friendly and helpful at both locations we ate at. Both were clean and service was quick. I can't give enough rave reviews about Porters. I need not say that the food was delicious. ”
“ Just finished eating a rib for breakfast - tasty even cold. Off doing field work and this was perfect -bbq joint ambiance / order at the counter to select meat and quantity- counter person hands you your tray and you move down to select sides - lots of options, we went with slaw and chili- both excellent. Sorry to have passed on bean options - they also looked good but slaw was a faint hand wave at veg. Beer, ice tea and various sugared beverages. Hard surface floor, chairs and tables. Paper roller towels, squeeze bottles of sauces tagged by heat level. Kind of perfect, kids very welcome. Tried not to order too much but did and enjoying the extra. Food is really tasty, people are friendly and the prices are fair. Our crew loved it. ”
“ As a guy with lots of experience in shoving barbecued meats into his face, you can trust me when I tell you this place is really really good. I got the brisket, pulled pork and bacon on a bun. Meats were smoked to tender and juicy perfection. The sides were all fantastic. I got Gouda mac and cheese (creamy and subtle but tasty), and slaw. Also Guy Fierri likes it and I took a picture ”
